Grant Stueve landed a 5-pound largemouth on April 8 from Mallard Lake Forest Preserve in DuPage County.

Ray Hinton, the Chatham fisherman, caught a surprise bulky smallmouth while casting spoons for trout and salmon last week on the Chicago lakefront at 95th Street.
