``Well, it is a good thing that my friend Pete Willy keeps his boat available,'' John Arlow emailed.

On their off day Sunday, they drove from Chesterton, Ind. on Sunday to fish Braidwood Lake. They caught and released six nice largemouth bass. Willy caught the best, 4.75 pounds, on a white spinner bait. The other bass came on clown-colored jerkbaits. Plastics produced nothing.
