The big one is the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show, which opened yesterday at the Wisconsin Exposition Center in West Allis, Wis. It runs through Sunday.

The show opens at the Milwaukee fair grounds today through Sunday. We have added displays for Lindner's and Gapen's early lures, hooks from Medieval times, 2 BC thru 500 AD, added Muskie lures to the South Bend, Heddon and Wisconsin displays and more.

The Illinois Taxidermist Association Convention and Competition is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday at the Northfield Inn in Springfield. Judges for the competition side are Mark Gonnering, Tim Perkins, Shawn Dawson and Brett DeFreitas
