I will add more as there is a more extensive obit, and Mr. Cullerton deserves that. He was a lion of Chicago outdoors, as his plaque for the Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame above shows, but far more as a World War II hero.

What a huge loss for our fishing community. A man that can never be replaced. He will be missed by everyone. The book written about him (The Last Dragon of Steeple Morden) Is a MUST read. It's hard to believe I was a friend of Bill"s. This country lost a great man and a true war Hero.
