For good reason, it is fundraising week. Hey, it's public radio.

I should say, we go partially live at 4:30 p.m. That means we will acknowledge contributors live during the breaks in the best of show segments.

Outside is the top podcast show on WKCC. That makes me happy. But we also need to pitch in and help with providing that service.

I am not sure what way station GM Mike Savage is arranging these, but the three best of segments are Steve Linneman on bikes and being a dog whisperer; Ken ``The Lakefront Lip'' Schneider on kids fishing and magic rods; Mark Spreyer on overcoming fears of the outdoors (``Let them explore'').

"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.
