Dave Mueller talks about the nature and wildlife art of the Porter family, as well as fly fishing and stream management out West, this afternoon on ``Outside'' on WKCC-FM (91.1).

The Porter Family exhibit was on display earlier this fall (a few pieces remain there) at his Paul Henry's Art Gallery in Hammond, Ind.

Mueller had an interesting life with brushes in the outdoors, such as fly fishing and stream management out West. We touch on that.

And the space, an old hardware store, just intrigues me; as does some of the things he is doing to make an art gallery work in Hammond, including an acoustic jam/open table potluck Thursday evenings that packs the place.

My hope is to take my son's band up there one Thursday evening to expand their experiences.

"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.
