Finally! Now I can get ALL my hunting gear!
I will be fascinated to see how it goes, how it impacts the main show, and how it is portrayed. I find it one of the most innovative strategies for dealing with show competition I have ever seen.
I guess it's good for the hunting side. I'm not much of a hunter though and plan on going to this new fishing show in Schaumburg instead because I hear they have Kevin Van Dam, Mike Iaconelli and a lot more pros coming. Plus I heard most of the big fishing companies will be there. I can't wait to see the new Daiwa and Shimano fishing rods and reels, or that new Hummingbird 360. I also hear they have Free parking which will definately save a few bucks. Who is Gene Ellison, I've never heard of him.
Do you or Sun Times have any information about the new show? I guess it's the same dates but with all the changes in Rosemont over the past decade it will be nice to have something fresh and innovative. It was bound to happen sooner or later.
The new fishing show and the Rosemont show are the same time. It will be interesting. I have not yet done my show list for the winter. I usually pull it together in November. The two shows going head to head could be good in terms of driving interest or a death battle. We shall see..
Gun show? I will not bring my kids to a gun show. I've heard about the new show in Schaumburg from my club and it sounds very exciting. We have'nt had a good fishing show in this area for many years. Let's hope it lives up to the hype. I hope this blog will post more informaiton on the new show so we can see what's coming.
I will pull together all the twists and turns of the Chicago outdoor shows scene in the next couple weeks, including the new fishing show. I need to do it in the next couple weeks because the first show of the winter season actually starts next month. . . . As to the gun show, i am curious to see what impact it has.
4 vendors, mostly knives, less than 25 pistols. Waste of time.
Pissed. Thanks. I had not been over there yet. I will see if it is the same come Sunday when I am back again.
