Radio Waves: Rebroadcast of ``The Lakefront Lip'' on Chicago fishing, access & kids

Enjoyed having Ken ``The Lakefront Lip'' Schneider on ``Outside'' so much that we are doing a rebroadcast of the Sept. 10 show this afternoon.

He discusses, well, lips off, on access issues on the Chicago lakefront and fishing.

And we touch seriously on how and why he is so good at teaching kids to fish.

We have fun, how can you not? We are serious, but not all the time.

We discuss his historic perch and his role in Chicago fishing, via being an original member of Mayor Daley's Fishing Advisory Committee. A committee continued under Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

It is good.

And thanks to Todd Carlander for blackmailing him into coming on the show. Not sure how he was blackmailed Schneider, but it worked.

"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.

Laurel Soper, the web tech and digital media person for KCC, has put together the podcast system here.

We were able to hear the re-broadcast on a buddy's I-phone while sitting in my boat.

Is blackmail still immoral when used for a higher purpose?

Great show lads!
