Phil Willink makes his third visit to ``Outside'' this afternoon.

This time Willink comes as he is in a new role as senior research biologist for the Shedd Aquarium. The photo is from when Willink worked at the Field Museum.
He talks about doing a comprehensive evaluation of Illinois' threatened and endangered fish species. From that we naturally talk about the status or Chicago waterways and rivers.
At the end, we touch on bighead and silver carp. I find his opinions sharp and interesting on Asian carp.
"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.
Laurel Soper, the web tech and digital media person for KCC, has put together the podcast system here.
