His work may have taken him to western Illinois recently, but Remington still comes up with some of the strongest nature photography around.

He sent a series of photos on a fox family and I picked the one above.

He emailed:

I know you like Red Foxes so I am sending you a few pictures of a family I am watching in Galena right outside the territory where Eagle Ridge is located. What an amazing gift to watch these beautiful animals go about their daily business. I can sit and watch them for hours without getting bored.

I know what he means. They are fascinating and probably my favorite mammal, or at least one of them.
