Scott Meister talks about the reintroduction of tagged brood stock smallmouth bass into a restored stretch of the West Branch of the DuPage River this afternoon on "Outside" on WKCC-FM (91.1).

When an angler catches one of the tagged fish, the angler should note the fish's identification number on the tag, then call (630) 553-0164 and report the fish's length and the date and location it was caught.
We then stretch the discussion with the natural resource management coordinator for the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County into some broader issues, such as the birds of the western suburbs.
Interesting day when you don't expect to be talking cormorants and turkeys after stocked smallmouth and a a restored river. But it all flows from the same great pool.
"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.
