Stephanie Frischie talks The Nature Conservancy's Kankakee Sands project this afternoon on "Outside" on WKCC-FM (91.1).

The plant materials and conservation programs coordinator for Kankakee Sands explores the wonders of the 8,000-acre project from Bogus Island to tiny rare plants.
She even touches on the possibility of bison being reintroduced, which is something I would love to live long enough to see.
"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays. This week's rebroadcast was shuffled as noted and will be noted again on the weekend.
