Holly Froning talks master gardening, our weird spring and coming attractions this afternoon on "Outside."
Froning is the master gardener coordinator for Kankakee County. She explains what master gardener means, what are the basic requirements and ongoing requirements.
We dabble a bit in the impact of this weird spring--the historic heat of March to the cold dryness of April.
Froning also talks about such coming attractions as master naturalist, which I believe Norm Minas told me I should take the last time it was offered, and master composter. As a dedicated composter of more than 12 years, I should probably take that one, too.
