CARLYLE, Ill.--Morning storms Saturday delayed the start of Day 2 of the IHSA state championship for bass fishing on Carlyle Lake.
By only for 44 minutes. The first boat blasted off at 7:44 a.m.
Fishing ends at 3 p.m. About half the field is within range of medaling, after a record-shattering Day 1 with 47 teams weighing limits.
Fenwick leads with 16-1.
