Morel of the Week: And garlic mustard around Chicago outdoors

Found this cluster of six and then four more. Garlic mustard is knee high at some places and it's hiding them pretty good. No wonder they call them elusive.

Nice contribution for an odd year for MOTW, the weekly celebration of morels on Sundays in the Sun-Times outdoors page.

Usually I run May into early June. Started April 1 this year, but the last few weeks with the return of normal spring and dryness, submissions have been few. And I have not been finding them yet either.

BTW, Hrdjun is one of those guys I need to do a story on. He has an interesting mix of interests in life and I have run into him in a variety of places.
