Radio waves: Norm Minas talks fishing the Kankakee; other things

| 3 Comments | No TrackBacks

So Norm Minas, half seriously, asks if he can come to the studio in his waders after a morning of fishing the Kankakee River for his second appearance this afternoon on "Outside."

We were soon down to business with Minas talking late winter/early spring fishing on the Kankakee and winter walleye. Then we touch on the Kankakee Round Table, then get Norm fired up son the incoming sand load and its problems.

"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.

How do i get norm's e-mail or tel#? His brother, Howie was dear friend, just passed away in Colorado. Got to send a card. Tell Norm that I pitched for MidSox in 1960's with Kalla, Cipriani, etc. Thanks.

thanks Dake

It was my uncle Howie that passed. Long time manager of the Midlothian white Sox
