Wildlife biologist Bob Bluett talks about the resurgence of river otters and bobcats in Illinois this afternoon on "Outside,"
River otters were reintroduced, beginning in 1994, and have made a stunning comeback in Illinois, making it into every watershed in the state including the Chicago River.
Bobcats have been ebounding in populations on their own.
Loved the theory why they appeared to comeback so strong in the Shawnee National Forest.
"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.
