There's been a lot of questions about the legality of The Alabama Rig and the many knockoffs of multi-lure presentations--hottest things at the outdoors shows this winter--in Illinois.

B.,A.S.S. made an interesting split decision on the use of multiple-lure presentations, primarily aimed at the hottest thing in fishing: The Alabama rig.

The second week of outdoors show season around Chicago is the biggest and busiest of the winter.

I am a little troubled how to word this Midwest Fishing Report as we are about to finally enter winter.

Nick Tassoni caught a walleye so big on Saturday it stretched across generations and broke the longest-standing gamefish record in Illinois.
