Today Jeff Manes, Patty Wisniewski and Brian Kallies, producers of "Everglades of the North - The Grand Kankakee Marsh," explain their imposing video project about the Kankakee River basin.

It's a show with firsts: our first three-guest show and our first show with a musical interlude: John Kennedy's "The Great Kankakee."

Since we first ran this show, there has been an added fundraising page. It includes the promo video, which gives a good sense of the project.

"Everglades of the North" is something that deserves backing and I want to see finished and on the air.

"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.
