Ryan Stochl landed one of the bigger muskies caught in Illinois, and the biggest one registered this year by creel card, from the Chain O'Lakes on Sunday.

Using a sucker, the Fox Lake man caught his 50.75-inch muskie, with a girth of 23 inches.
District fisheries biologist Frank Jakubicek said the conversion tables put it at 37.33 pounds.
That prompted Jakubicek to crack, ``The Chain's going to hold the State record shortly!!''
Thanks to Ray Thompson for forwarding this stuff.
