Buck of the Week: Trail cam shot

Click here for the BOTW, well the trail cam shot of one, which I used as the leadin to the opening of bowhunting in Illinois on Saturday.

I usually don't start running BOTW, the weekly celebration of bucks bagged by Chicago area hunters, until closer to the rut, but I received a couple good trail cam shots and may start earlier this year.

Yowza! The scary thing about that buck in velvet is that he still looks young! Man are his beam thick though.

Yeah, I would have liked to have seen one like that running around this summer. But I haven't, and am starting to get worried.
