Radio waves: Gone But Not Forgotten II

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Joel Greenberg and I do our second section of "Gone but Not Forgotten," species that have disappeared from our area or are extinct, focusing this time on plants (Thismia americana, anyone?), reptiles, amphibians and insects Monday on "Outside."

"Outside" airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. Rebroadcasts of the show are at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.

The funny part of this show, which we had done earlier in the summer, was it came before the latest attempt to find Thismia americana around Chicago earlier this month.

Laurel Soper, the web tech and digital media person for KCC, has put together the podcast system here.
