I just found the report Jeff Nolan sent on fishing the Chicago River, and it is worth posting separately.
Here is the report from the voice of Bridgeport Bass:
Chicago river fishing report ; only fished the southbranch this week big blue gills still hitting small cranks in open water / structure some small bass also , the whole river has changed from the storms . New structure where there was none no structure where there once was . Note ; saw lots of homeless rats trying to make new homes along shoreline .Water temp up to 86 .
