Hall of Fame: Quick thoughts

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Ed Mullady was one of the four inductees into the Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame Saturday night, but the only one to receive a standing O.

Ed, pictured with IDNR director Marc Miller, had a lot of good stuff to say. I need to figure out how to sort it out.

Bob Long Jr. gave the best speech, which included a Germanic opening.

I was not looking forward to going and was doubly PO'd because I could have spent many more hours at the Illinois Deer & Turkey Classic.

But I ended up having a wonderful evening and felt enriched.

More some other time and likely in some other form.
