| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Pete Mavrakis' nearly 40-inch northern pike caught from Willow Slough on Sunday takes Fish of the Week honors.

I think Hannah Starcevich and Anna Cochrane are holding Mavrakis' pike, but I am not sure. There were a bunch of nice pike caught from ``The Slough'' the past few days.

Click here for a more imposing photo of Mavrakis with his big pike and the broader story of ice fishing for northern pike around the area in my Sun-Times outdoors column today.

With the revamped S-T site, I may just link most days from now on.

E-mail FOTW nominations to straycasts@sbcglobal.net.
