Fall mushroom stories and photos keep coming, and, as long as they remain interesting to me, I will run them.

Ed Bowen found his first cauliflower mushrooms early last week.
The south suburban man e-mailed:
I cleaned all the dirt, beetles and earwigs out and put it in some boiling water for few minutes to kill anything else that might be on it. Plan on cooking it up tonight. I usually put them in a frying pan with olive oil, butter and fresh garlic. They are even good cold for snack like chips. Blackhawks, Monday night football and Shrooms!
As long as good ones keep coming MOTW will run Sundays on the outdoors page of the Sun-Times, and be posted here usually Saturday or Sunday.
E-mail MOTW nominations to outdoordb@sbcglobal.net.
