Fish of the Week: Pumpkins & first muskie

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

Mike Lynch proudly sent Katie Subject's first muskie for FOTW, and was happy to give up Bears tickets to do it.

Lynch sent this:

We turned down Bears tickets( I knew DNab would take care of business) for a trip to the pumpkin patch and a couple hours on the fox chain. Spent a couple hours working one deep hole on the north end of the chain trolling cranks between 6'-9' Fow. Lost a couple nice fish but finally managed to get Katie her first Muskie.

That's a pretty good first muskie for the Naperville woman.

Like Donovan McNabb, Lynch played football at Mount Carmel. He also coaches there, including the bass fishing team.

FOTW usually tops the Midwest Fishing Report on the outdours page of the Sun-Times each Wednesday. An extended online version appears here, usually by midnight Tuesday.
