One of the sign posts of natural change is the arrival of the first fall color report from Wisconsin.
The e-mail with the first report came yesterday. The leaf above fell in Kenosha County in 2008.

This is just the sort of the prep report. The closest to peak was Cable, where even there peak was figured to be three weeks away.
