Give Mike Gofron another victory in a walleye tournament.
Gofron is the best pro fisherman in Chicago fishing, and the Antioch man just added another notch with a weather-shortened victory in the AIM International Walleye Championship.
Here's the note from AIM PR staff:
Antioch, Ill. walleye pro Mike Gofron has won a weather-shortened AIM International Walleye Championship on Lake Winnibigoshish in Minnesota.
Poynette, Wisconsin resident Robert Blosser earned second place in the AIM Pro Walleye Series International Championship on Minnesota's Lake Winnibigoshish, and because of that finished first for Angler Of The Year. Joe Okada of Fitchburg, Wis., places third. Claremont, Minn. angler Brett King is in fourth place and Minnetrista, Minn. pro angler "Doc" Bruce Samson is fifth.
