Chicago fishing: Cook/DuPage fall trout adds

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Add Horsetail Lake in Cook County and Grove, Pickerel and Silver lakes in DuPage County to the lakes open for fall trout.

Those lakes are not on the usual list put out by the IDNR because they are stocked by the forest preserve districts rather than by the state.

Grove is Wood Dale Grove Forest Preserve.

Pickerel is in Pratt's Wayne Woods. FP.

Silver is in Blackwell FP.

BTW, Pickerel replaced Deep Quarry a year or two back because of zebra mussels reaching Deep Quarry.

Horsetail is off Willow Springs Road in the SW suburbs.
