There was something about the bucket brigade stocking of 3,000 bluegills in the Henry Palmisano Pond at Stearns Quarry that inspired artistic creativity.

The pond aptly pays homage to the Palmisanos of Henry's Sports, Bait & Marine, a few blocks away in the 3100 block of S. Canal.
The pond, aimed at being a catch-and-release for kids, and park are in the 2700-2900 blocks of S. Halsted.
