Hummingbird: Headed to feeder

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Trying to get some decent goldfinch photos at my wife's sunflowers, I keep ending up with better shots of hummingbirds.

We have at least two hummers regularly visiting the feeder, along with a growing number of bees.

I will eventually get a passable photo of the goldfinch at my wife's sunflowers, one of which is growing up toward the second story bedroom window.

American goldfinches rank up there with wood ducks and northern cardinals as the most beautiful birds around Chicago outdoors.

Ruby-throated hummingbirds
are simply the coolest.
