Maybe the fish behind him is the forty pounder.
I agree photos can be decieving, but after looking at the photo of the existing world record from Michigan, the Wisconsin fish does NOT appear to be nearly as big, or heavy.
Any way you look at it though, it's definitely the fish of a lifetime!
