The official part of the 45th National Antique Decoy and Sporting Collectibles Show is Friday and Saturday at Pheasant Run in St. Charles.

But, as the show flyer indicates, the real fun is the room-to-room trading, which begins tonight.

The Guyette & Schmidt Auction is at 11 a.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday.
Often this is the most earth-shattering part of the show with records for decoy sales routinely being set over the years.

One of the better items this year is this stick-up Canada goose by Sam Soper.
This year the auction features the Joseph B. French collection. Click here for auction details.
The general show is sponsored by the Midwest Decoy Collectors Association.
It's a $5 admission or join the MDCA for $15. Parking is free. Hours for the regular show are 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday
