Fish of the Week: Family crappie

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

Tim Williams nominated the crappie he and his daughter Sydney caught on Saturday for Fish of the Week.

Here's his note:

My daughter and I each caught a nice Crappie 15 to 16 inch estimate give or take. We were using Crappie minnows fishing shallows around sunken trees in maybe 4-5 feet of water with the minnows at about 2 feet down. Conditions were ideal Saturday, humid and foggy overcast with occasional light drizzle. These were released to make bigger babies. Location was our private lake in McHenry County.

They are nice crappie, nice enough with a wonderful photo to earn a FOTW honor.
