A 40-pound muskie was netted at Evergreen today. Netting_Survey_April_8-index

So reports PrairieStateOutdoors.com.

If it is a legit 40-pounder, and there's a big difference between a fish being weighed on the water and taken back to a certified scale, it would be the second 40-pounder weighed by biologists at Evergreen Lake. Another was also weighed in the 2008 survey.

Whether it is a legit 40 or not, it is a very nice fish.
