I thought I had already posted this photo, but here it is a week late.

That's Andrew Vogeler and his dad Dave with the 1956 MiloCraft that Andrew redid. I had the story in an outdoors column in the Sun-Times on Jan. 20.
Reader John Heneghan commented that I had not posted a photo.
So here is the photo of what I thought was neatest story in the antique boat display at the Chicago Boat Show.
BTW, last week, another reader said he had a matching baby-blue 1956 35-horse Evinrude motor. I don't know if they ever connected on that or not.

Thanks for the picture of a fine restoration. One can see the pride in the young man's face on a job well done. It is good to see that some appreciate the older wood boats, which in my opinion outclass any fiberglass boats today.
