It seems apt to have a muskie as Fish of the Week after this weekend of the Muskie Show, and Rich Carlson submitted this one earlier this fall.
The north suburban man caught the fish on Madeline Lake in St. Germaine, Wis. in early November.

FOTW tops the Midwest Fishing Report on the outdours page of the Sun-Times each Wednesday. An extended online version appears here, usually by midnight Tuesday.
I never quite understand, maybe it is just the cold and hassle, but rarely do I receive FOTW nominations from ice fishing.
