Mike Wagner earns Fish of the Week honors with another monster largemouth from Delavan Lake in southern Wisconsin.

FOTW leads the Midwest Fishing Report each Wednesday in the Sun-Times. An extended online version appears here usually by midnight Tuesday. I am cutting it close tonight.
The Morton Grove fireman e-mailed,
``Just wanted to let people know that the season is not over! After seeing your fish of the week by the guy from Morton Grove I thought I would send in a pic of a fish that I caught on oct. 29th on Lake Delevan. Looks like Delavan is the place to be if you're looking for 8lb+ largemouth!''
It is the spot for monster largemouth near Chicago.
The Humboldt Park man added these details Details:
Temperature: 55degrees.
water temp: 51degrees.
wind: 15-20mph out of the east.
overcast sky.
Caught the fish in 12fow at about 8ft on a slip bobber with a large minnow. I was fishing the windblown west shore looking for weedbeds.

That photo looks fake. How can we check and see if it is real? Even if it is real, there is no way it weighs 8 lbs. More like 6.5 lbs. Anyway, this sounds like a Fish Story to me.
