Chicago lakefront: fillets to Daniel Burnham

This sight of Capt. Bill Kelly filleting salmon in Monroe Harbor Saturday afternoon pushed Andy Mikos to wax poetic.


Mikos invoked worship of Daniel Burnham as the orange fillets piled up by Kelly's knife. That was the jumping off point for my column on the Chicago Yachting Association Salmon Classic in Wednesday's Sun-Times.
