No, Chicago Wild Weekend Wanderings this weekend, because I have been doing too much wandering myself, and enjoying it immensely.
First spent a good chunk of Thursday working on the likely world record brown trout.
Then it was fishing, bird watching and exploring on the confluence of the Kankakee and Des Plaines, including a rare early spotting of a black-legged kittiwake.
Then from 2 this morning until 7 tonight was spent fishing the Chicago Yachting Association Salmon Classic out of Monroe Harbor on a gorgeous day to be on the lakefront.
Here's hoping all enjoyed the day and will enjoy the weekend.
