Brad Brown died Friday morning. On Sunday, Mark Tupper gave him a proper send-off in the Decatur Herald-Review.
Brown was not an easy guy, he had what I once called intelligent feistiness.
But if you cared about the outdoors around central Illinois, particularly Lake Shelbyville, or about deer hunting, Brown had the guts to talk directly and forcefully to the powers that be.
And I hope when my time comes I have somebody like Tupper to note my passing.
