Memorable Kinkaid muskie trip

Retired Downers Grove pipefitter Bob Kosiewicz sent a story early this summer about a muskie fishing trip on Lake Kinkaid with his partner Dianna ``Di'' Seymour. I think it is a piece of woman's muskie fishing history in Illinois.

With this 47-inch muskie, Di began an incredible streak of 19 muskies, 12 of them 41 inches or longer, caught and released by the pair with guide Chad Cain while trolling Llungen Krushers.

I think her catch of nine, six 41 inches or longer, puts her feat as one of the most remarkable muskie catching streaks by a woman in Illinois.

What's a catching streak?

In this case, it is nine muskies over 3 1/2 days, with six of them 41 inches or longer. That's a catching stretch I think may be unmatched by a woman in Illinois.
