The best sign at the Rock Bass Rally at Northerly Island on Saturday was the perch being caught, the reverse of rock bass caught during the perch derby last month.

Here's the top winners and such from Steve Palmisano at Henry's Sports/Bait & Marine:

Here are the results from our Rock Bass Rally. Heaviest weight for 5 fish 1st pl.winner with 1.50 lb caught by Tony Petoske. 2nd place 1.20 lb Jimmy Dibiase and 3rd pl 1.15 lb Ricardo Gonzales. Big fish winner for the event was a fiesty .50 lb fish!! Aberto Romano.

PS Some perch were caught along with the rockies. Sat morning is the perch opener and I know there are some perch still on the Chicago shoreline of Lake Michigan!!
