DogDayz reaches Mackinac first

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

At 7:50:04 a.m. today, DogDayz was the first boat to reach Mackinac Island in the 101st Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac.

DogDayz, owned by Dan VandenBossche of New Baltimore, Mich., was sailing in the cruising divisions, which left Chicago on Friday afternoon.

So the official first to finish will come from another division, from those that sailed on Saturday. DogDayz continued on toward Port Huron in the Super Mac.
