There's nothing like brothers and fishing. Especially along the Chicago River.

Shortly after 2-year-old David Nowak said something about wanting to catch a greenfish, just after he had caught a nice bluegill, his 6-year-old brother Joseph landed a sorta greenish fish, a goby.

Gobie or not, Joseph was quite happy.
Last week, I stopped by Mayor Daley's River Fishing Festival and was quite impressed. It is on the south bank of the Chicago River, east of Columbus. It is operating from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday through Aug. 14.
