Carp: Fly fishing the Great Lakes

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks

Eric Sharp has another fine piece on fly fishing for carp in the Detroit Free Press.

In mid-June a reader asked for a fly guide for carp around the Chicago area and we couldn't come up with any, though a few people do it.

This might be a starting point for looking for a guide, or inspire somebody else to take up carp fishing as a guide service.

This is the first time a hered about fly fishing for carp,I am very excited to see a guide.

Yes fly fishing for carp can be amazing. I did it once this year. It takes some getting used to though, it is not like trout fishing.
