Faithful contributor Arden Katz thought it was time for a Fish of the Week on ice.

So the North Side man submitted this pair of browns from Kenosha harbor across the line in Wisconsin.
FOTW tops the Midwest Fishing Report each Wednesday in the Sun-Times. An extended online version appears here, generally about midnight Tuesday. I was covering some basketball, so this one is a bit late.
Here's Arden's tale.
``I caught these two brown trout on 12-24-08, fishing in Kenosha harbor, on white tube jigs - 32 oz. I thought it would be a good fish of the week because it's ice fishing season. All the other pics I see are open water pics. These babies were about 5 and 7 lbs. Good eatin'!''
Sometimes FOTW are best eaten.
Arden said the best fishing has been on overcast days, and there's been the occasional rainbow. He suspects the ice fishing there has been better this winter because the piers are still in and aerators going, attracting fish.
