Watching the Sox the last two days reminds me of the old Big Bucks bass tournaments on the Chain O'Lakes: where guys threw final casts with spinner baits on the point on the way back to Grass Lake Marina, hoping to land a kicker big enough to get them into the Classic.
(May baseball run long enough on both sides of town to make daily Strays Casts worth it all month.)
