Navy Pier fisherman's parking

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

The deal on fisherman's parking at Navy Pier lives.

Even if the automated payment system gave it some heart palpitations.

Navy Pier honcho Vince Gavin assured me Friday afternoon that the deal on fisherman's parking remains firmly in place: Fishermen who leave before 10 a.m. should only pay $5 for parking.

The easiest way to assure the deal is to go to the Standard Parking office at the east end of Navy Pier. Otherwise, you can attempt to find a Standard Parking employee in either the east or west lots to validate the ticket.

Perch fishing has been hit and miss, as has the ice.

We have to thank the people at Navy Pier for this wonderful opportunity to park in the morning. Fishermen keep the place clean.
